
Richard Lewis is an Investment Advisor Representative, educator, and public speaker who founded Millen2ium Financial Group, LLC over 15 years ago. He has a passion for helping individual families and small businesses understand how to set and meet their goals relative to financial, trust and estate planning, and tax reduction strategies.
Richard received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A & M University, Tallahassee, FL and began his career as a corporate tax research specialist with a Big 8 CPA firm in New York City. He later transitioned to the banking industry as a corporate tax officer. In 1981 he made a career change to the financial services industry where he excelled in sales and sales management. He advanced from Regional Vice President to Senior Vice President while managing a highly productive sales team and served in this capacity for over 23 years.
Richard felt that to better serve and meet the growing financial planning needs of his clients, he needed to start his own company. So, in 2004 Richard founded Millen2ium Financial Group, LLC.
Whether working with clients or training other advisors, Richard is passionate about educating people on money and how to make it work for them and that’s evident to everyone he meets. You will often hear him say, “Treat others with respect. Be firm but fair. Be honest. Return telephone calls. Work hard. Live right and find something you’re passionate about.
Richard is married to Rhonda Donald Lewis and together, they have three sons and one adorable granddaughter. In addition to spending time with family, Richard enjoys golfing, reading, and traveling. He is also very active in his community. He is a member of the National Society of Financial Educators. He is an active member of Victory Christian Center Church in Charlotte, NC. Richard's company, Millen2ium Financial Group, is currently the title sponsor of the MFG Invitational Basketball Tournament at Victory Christian Center School in Charlotte, NC.
